If you have a Vocational Qualification (QCF) it shows that you can do the work for which it has been awarded to national standards. It means you are competent in this kind of work. QCFs can help you improve productivity and competitiveness. Many major companies use QCFs and find them valuable tools for business and employee development. They report significant benefits in terms of improved employee performance and motivation. We facilitate the development of portfolio both in hard copy and electronic version. We design and carry out assessments as required for accreditation in accordance with the awarding Body Specifications; so also, we monitor, review and support learners progress by using appropriate methods.

Technical Skills can help you prepare for work or help your career development better than academic learning Technical Skills shows you can do a job to national standards and have the up-to-date skills employers are looking for. In terms of work, a qualification which proves you can do a job competently is a valuable possession. Acquiring practical skills is as important as the theory - they show what you can do as well as what you know. QCFs are therefore much more than academic courses; you don't have to sit through hours, days, weeks or even years of academic courses, and there are no exams at the end. ICFs are about putting learning into practice. This doesn't mean that you can't take courses to achieve QCF. Another benefit is that QCF s are flexible - you can do QCF as part of your normal job, work towards one at college or through open learning and private study, or a combination of these.

The Levels 2-3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care are aimed at individuals working with adults and children across all social care settings. The qualifications provide specialist routes for learning disabilities or dementia care

A QUALIFIED LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA CANDIDATE CAN WORK AS

  • Senior care assistants/support workers/key workers in residential settings

  • Senior healthcare assistants/support workers in community and primary care environments such as GPs

  • Senior healthcare assistants/support workers in acute health environments

  • Senior care assistants/support workers/key workers in domiciliary services

  • Senior care assistants/support workers/key workers in day services

  • Senior support workers in supported living projects

  • Community-based senior care assistants/support workers/key workers, including those working in specialist areas, eg dementia, learning disabilities

  • Personal assistants employed directly by the individual they support or their families

  • Any types of work and multidisciplinary healthcare delivery roles.

THE LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA IN LEADERSHIP FOR HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE AND CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE’S 

Services is aimed at individuals who lead as managers of social care provision in an adult or a children and young people’s setting, either as managers of the provision or as senior practitioners. This qualification is best suited to those who are already working in a management or leadership role working with health and social care services; or those that are responsible for planning services, measuring performance and delivering continuous improvement in care services
